Auricular Medicine
Auricular Medicine (AM) is a combination of Western and Eastern Medicine, and has elements of Reflexology and Energetic Medicine (such as Reiki or Therapeutic Touch). The work of Dr. Li-Chiun Huang has transformed AM from an adjunct to other treatments to a branch of science that stands on its own.
One of the distinct advantages of Auricular Medicine is in the area of diagnosis. Everything that happens in any part of the body shows up in the ear. Electrical detection methods can finds things even before symptoms show in the body. Visual effects can take longer to appear, but can illustrate the patient’s medical history and genetic predisposition.
